U.S. Engineering is excited to host the ICE Group Annual Meeting in 2025 in Kansas City. I’m pleased to announce that Nick “Machine” Lavery will be our guest speaker in Kansas City. Nick is an active duty Green Beret Warrant Officer who has overcome insurmountable obstacles in life. Nick lost his right leg during combat operations in Afghanistan and refused a military medical retirement. Two years later, he returned to his A-Team and was subsequently deployed once again to Afghanistan conducting full spectrum Special Operations. Nick is considered the first Special Forces operator to return to combat as an above-the-knee amputee. Nick has the Silver Star, three Purple Hears, two Bronze Stars and a Bronze Star for Valor. He is the best-selling author of Objective Secure – the battle-tested guide to goal achievement. Nick will tell his story and inspire us to unlock capacity and increase capability within ourselves.
I’m greatly looking forward to seeing you in Kansas City!
